Getting exception of "553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts" when using SMTP

Most SMTP servers are configured in a way that without proper authentication they will only relay mail for the domains that they host. If you try to send an email to an outside domain without first authenticating with the server you will likely get this error or something similar.

To authenticate with an SMTP server invoke the Smtp.Connect() method followed by Smtp.Login(username,password);

Example:

smtp.Connect();
smtp.Login(username,password);

You may then send emails to domains outside those hosted by the SMTP server.
