Setting your classpath
Posted by Van Glass on 15 March 2007 11:32 PM
When compiling or running a Java program that makes use of JSCAPE libraries you must include the jar file in your classpath. This may be set at the command line or configured within your IDE. Please consult your IDE documentation for additional information.

To include the jar file in your classpath when compiling from the command line perform the following:

javac -classpath [path to jar] [classname.java]

For Example:

javac -classpath c:\lib\sinetfactory.jar Test.java

To include the jarfile in your classpath when running from the command line perform the following:

java -cp [path to jar] [classname]

For Example:

java -cp c:\lib\sinetfactory.jar Test
