How to copy/replicate triggers from one server / domain to another?
Posted by Daniel Demecillo II, Last modified by on 07 November 2011 01:45 PM

Note: This no longer works for versions 9.3 and above. See related content below.

The file that hold trigger definitions is %installdir%/domains/%domain%/event/descriptors.dat. To copy trigger definitions to another server / domain you will need to copy this file to the same directory on the target server. This needs to be done while the servers / domains are down.

Please replace %installdir% with the path where JSCAPE MFT Server is installed and replace %domain% with the domain name where you will be copying triggers from/to.

There is currently no way to copy triggers alone as of this writing but you might want to check out the links below, as you might find some of them useful, particularly if you want to copy/migrate all server configuration data.
