Path must match or be a subdirectory of the ... restricted path

When logging into the Web user interface as a domain administrator, you might get an error message similar to this when attempting to add a virtual path:

"Path must match or be a subdirectory of the ... restricted path"

This likely because you have restricted this user's path to the directory specified in the error message.

To remedy the situation, you need to login as a server administrator (not domain administrator) into the JSCAPE MFT Server Manager.

Navigate into the domain that contains the user you edited.
Go to Users and edit the user account in question.
Navigate into the Domain Administration tab.
Uncheck the "Restrict user path to" checkbox.
Log back in to the user account via the Web interface.
You should be able to create the new path.
