Key points to remember when setting up an Amazon S3 reverse proxy as external file storage system

To set up an Amazon S3 reverse proxy as your JSCAPE MFT Server's external file storage system, you'll need the following:

  • your Access Key ID. This functions like an account username
    • An Access Key ID would look like this: AKIAIOSFODNN7EXAMPLE
  • You Access Key ID's corresponding Secret Access Key or Secret Key. This functions like an account password
    • secret key would look like this: wJalrXUtnFEMI/K7MDENG/bPxRfiCYEXAMPLEKEY
  • A folder in your Amazon S3 bucket. You'll need to enter this into the Remote directory field using the format: nameofS3bucket/folder
