HTTP ERROR 500 fix

Sometimes, you might encounter a "HTTP ERROR 500" issue when accessing a domain via the HTML UI (HTTP/S service) after an upgrade to v10.2. 
The issue occurs on some upgrades and happens when the "default" language resource (Domains>Services>HTTP/S>Resources...) is somehow missing. While there is currently no way to prevent this issue during the upgrade itself, there is a fix/workaround post-upgrade.
There are now 2 ways to fix this depending on the version the customer
is using. 

For v10.2.8 and higher:

For each affected domain, 
  1. Go to "Services > HTTP/S",
  2. Click on the "Resources..." button,
  3. Click on the "Reset To Default" button 
  4. Click the "OK"  button on the "Web Resources" dialog and finally
  5. Click on the "Apply" button once you are back on the "Services > HTTP/S"

For v10.2.7 and lower:

Please note that this will reset everything under "Services > HTTP/S" for each domain affected. Please take note of this screen for each domain before executing the following steps.

  1. Copy the attached SQL script and place it inside <mftserver installdir>
  2. Stop JSCAPE MFT Server service
  3. ..
    1. For those running on *nix:

      Open up a terminal session to your JSCAPE MFT Server machine and execute the following command while inside <mftserver installdir>.

      java -classpath libs/h2-1.4.196.jar -url jdbc:h2:./data/server -user server -password server -script mft_reset_http.sql
    2. For those running on Windows:

      Open up a command prompt window and execute the following command while inside <mftserver installdir>. Please replace "C:\ProgramFiles\java\jre" accordingly to where Java is installed on your system.

      "C:\Program Files\java\jre\bin\java" -classpath libs\h2-1.4.196.jar -url jdbc:h2:./data/server -user server -password server -script mft_reset_http.sql
  4. Start JSCAPE MFT Server service
  5. Re-apply the configuration for "Services > HTTP/S" for each domain affected.
