Do I need a separate web server to handle HTTP/S and/or WebDAV requests?

JSCAPE MFT Server has a built-in web server that handles all HTTP/S and WebDAV requests so a separate web server is not needed. You can enable the IP/port(s) that this web server uses in JSCAPE MFT Server Manager under the File > Settings > Web panel. The ports used must be ports that are not in use by another application. For example, if you already have a web server running on this machine that uses port 80 then you will either need to change the port used by this web server or choose another port to use in JSCAPE MFT Server.

Enabling HTTP/S support in the File > Settings > Web panel does not automatically enable HTTP/S services for the domain. This is by design as you may want to offer HTTP/S services on one domain, but not another. To add HTTP/S support for your domain go to the Services node of JSCAPE MFT Server Manager and click on the "Add" button. When prompted for the service type to add select "HTTP" and define what services you would like to enable HTTP/HTTPS. Lastly, click the "Apply" button to apply the changes and restart your domain.

Once the HTTP service is enabled for your domain you can access it using the following URL pattern:

http://hostname:port
